Florida Food Handler Training Requirement

 All food service employees of establishments licensed by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation must receive specific food safety training as required in section 509.049, Florida Statutes and must be certified every three years.  Violations can result in administrative penalties, including fines and license suspension or revocation.

 Safe Food Handlers Corporation is an approved provider of the Florida food handler training and offers an online course to meet the state requirement.
